Pelican Crossing Campaign for Ravenscote

Pelican Crossing Campaign for Ravenscote This page will be used to communicate any news or progress made on obtaining our Pelican Crossing!

I started a petition (https://www.change.org/PCCForRavenscote) in September 2018 to get a safe crossing installed for the children of Ravenscote, also serving Tomlinscote and St Augustine's. Since then the campaign has really gathered momentum with local/BBC radio stations, newspapers and internet tv channels getting involved, I've even broken the county lines and appeared in a Hertfordshire newspaper via Brake (the road safety charity) around the time of our protest in November 2019. Let's hope 2021 will be the year Surrey County Council do the right thing and bring our children's safety in line with all other schools in Frimley, Camberley. This page will hold all the information, news and progress along the way! Thanks for your support ~ Louise ~ [email protected]

What more can I say, apart from “job done” 👍🏼
I’ve been down to the Pelican Crossing and it’s all working wonderfully, just a little bit of tarmac to be finished by the looks of it…
THANK YOU to all who supported my campaign, with special thanks to Edward Hawkins for pushing it along and putting up with my many emails and to my friend Fay Pasley for her design work on the posters 🥰
I appreciate all of you for signing the petition and encouraging me along the way, power to the people!!!💪🏼💜
