🌟 Spotlight on After School Club🌟
The children have been busy doing lots of crafts, colouring, construction, role play kitchen and fancy dress as well as small world play. They have particularly enjoyed lots of quite competitive games of Uno and Dobble!
We were delighted to receive some funding for some new outside toys which included various bats and balls, skipping rope, frisbees and kiddiecarts, and have been enjoying these as the weather warmed up. Football has also been popular with plenty of team games!
As always it is now time to say goodbye to our Year 2 pupils. It has been lovely watching them develop their confidence throughout their school journey. We wish them all the very best of luck at their new schools. We will miss them!
We would like to thank all our families for their continued support at ASC and we wish you all a lovely and relaxing summer.
We look forward to seeing you in September.

🦁 Frimley Green Carnival 2026 🦁
This year's Frimley Carnival theme was Musicals and the children, staff and families from Sandringham Infant and Nursery Academy and Cross Farm Infant Academy, brought the Lion King musical to life!
The sun shone for us and despite the very hot weather, the turnout was amazing! It was wonderful to see everyone lining the streets, cheering and supporting us all. The enthusiasm and community spirit was exceptional and helped to make the day one to remember!
Thank you to the carnival team for all their hard work in putting this together. The props and costumes were outstanding! To all the children, families and supporters who helped make this community event so successful, a huge thank you.
We are delighted that this fantastic community effort was also recognised by the judges and we won best under 12 float 🎉🌟
Congratulations - well done everyone!

🌞Community week 2026🌞
We started our community week with an assembly led by the RNLI. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the important work that the RNLI do and taking part in this interactive assembly! They also enjoyed assemblies led by the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Camberley and St Peter's Church in Frimley. Thank you to our community volunteers for our assembly enrichment.
In Early Years, the children visited Frimley Baptist church and performed some songs during their seniors coffee afternoon. They also enjoyed a visit from Frimley C of E junior school's community crew.
A group of our Year 1 pupils helped keep Frimley Green looking tidy by taking part in some litter picking. Local residents commended our pupils for their helpful work and respectful behaviour in the community. Another group visited Bright Horizons nursery and enjoyed reading to preschool children. They also enjoyed visiting the local library and learning all about the work of the library service.
Our Year 2 pupils kicked off community week with a food bank drive and litter picking around the school grounds. Thank you for all the donations received, which were collated and donated to The Besom in Camberley.
Thank you also to our parent volunteers who led workshops sharing their professions and work in the community. The children thoroughly enjoyed finding out about what a nurse does in the NHS and finding out about scientists launching rockets into space!
The children have had a wonderful and enriching week. Thank you to all the staff, parents and community volunteers who have helped to make this week a success!
We are delighted to announce that our sponsored 'Walk to School' during community week raised £375 towards our chosen local charity 'The Frimhurst Community'. Thank you to all the pupils for taking part in this community initiative. They really enjoyed taking part in the walking challenge.
⭐️Congratulations to Moles Class ⭐️who won the walk to school week trophy. They raised an incredible £175 altogether!
Combined with the proceeds raised from our freeze pop sale, we have raised £434 in total for our chosen charities.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored and supported us during community week!
We are very much looking forward to our upcoming Kite Stronger Communities week, launching tomorrow! Across the Trust, our children and staff will take part in a wide range of meaningful activities designed to build and strengthen our connections in the local community.

⭐️Spotlight on Year 2⭐️
Year 2 have really enjoyed their design technology project this term - to design and make a pouch. The children learnt how to do a running stitch and thread a needle. They then decorated their pouches to add extra flair! We think you will agree that they look super!
