Bubble & Squeak Kids' Kitchen

Hello to all my lovely customers and followers. I’ve been putting this post off a bit so here goes…
Sadly, after very careful consideration, the time has come for me to close the kitchen door on Bubble and Squeak, at least for the time being anyway.
It’s not been an easy decision as I love my little business and I have learnt so much.
I have another job which is now taking up more of my time, and I also want to devote more time to my three children whilst they’re young.
Unfortunately this means there won’t be any Christmas cookery workshops and I am no longer taking bookings for parties (booked parties are still going ahead!).
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my wonderful customers, especially to those who have returned again and again. I have loved every single second of teaching your children to make a whole range of recipes. I hope they continue to have a love of cooking and continue to make delicious treats in your kitchens.

Last session of the half term holidays today and it was time for Baking Buddies 👩🏼‍🍳🧑🏽‍🍳👨‍🍳
We had a spooktacular time making Boo! biscuits - lovely little biscuits filled with jam, or some this time with chocolate icing. Such fun! And lovely to welcome back familiar faces as well as new ones.
Now to clean it all up and enjoy the rest of the hols with my own three kids. ☺️

Another brilliant session in Fleet! We made Halloween doughnuts and spider web biscuits.
The bakers loved decorating their doughnuts with the Halloween sprinkles and using the different coloured icing.

Hubble Bubble and Squeak is back for the Halloween holidays!
Today in our Farnborough class we had great fun (and made lots of mess) making creepy cookies and trembling trifles.
We used lots of food colouring, which the bakers loved 😀

Looking forward to another class tomorrow in Fleet making doughnuts. 🍩 👻🎃🧟‍♀️

On 25th October we’ll be making Boo! biscuits and having some Halloween fun!
Classes are approx 1 hour 15 mins and you’ll leave with your goodies and also a recipe card of what we make. £15 per child.

Booking for my October cookery workshops goes live this Friday evening (29th Sept) at 8pm! 😃😃😃

Classes take place in Farnborough and Fleet from 9-11am. £20 for a 2 hour class where we’ll make two delicious dishes and the kids take home their goodies as well as the recipe cards.

Hey everyone!
I’m updating my website as certain things have changed in my business recently:

🧁I no longer run after school clubs as my hours have increased in my other job (I’m also an education advisor for a tutoring company). I will miss running these classes!

🧁I am no longer going to be selling baking kits. They take a very long time to put together and the time is not worth how much I get back from them financially. I won’t miss making these 😂😂

Rest assured, I still love running Bubble and Squeak and I can now concentrate on my holiday workshops, Baking Buddies and birthday parties 🥳

I’ve been so rubbish at uploading pics of the last few sessions of my holiday workshops with this lovely lot of bakers!
Coming home, cleaning up and then being mum to my three who were at home meant I just didn’t have the time! So here are a job lot of pics showing what we did, and lots of happy faces!

I’m now trying to organise the next classes over October half term and (dare I say it) Christmas!

I can’t wait to welcome everyone back again! 😃

What is a pirate’s least favourite vegetable???

Leeks 🤣🤣🤣

No leeks in sight today on our pirate themed Baking Buddies sessions. Instead we make cheesy pirate coins, made golden with egg yoke. Whilst they baked we made mini treasure chests, treasure maps and cutlasses.
My own kids also thought this sounded fun and made their own when I got home! (Last pic).

I have another Baking Buddies session on the 24th in where we’ll be making dino biscuits. 1 space left!

Today was the first cookery session of the summer hols!

We had such fun making pizza bombs 🤤🤤🤤 and cookie dough. The pizza bombs smelt amazing once they were cooked!

All my workshops are sold out this summer (thank you!! ☺️) but I’ve already had people asking about October. I’d better get organised! 😳

Mums/dads and your little ones! Join us this Friday in Fleet for a fun filled pirate themed cooking class. We’ll be making cheesy pirate coins and having some swashbuckling fun 🏴‍☠️

The class is only £10 for an hour and 15 mins and you’ll take away the goodies we make as well as a recipe card so you can make them again and again.

Happy 6th birthday! 🎈
I ran a lovely cookery party yesterday with a great bunch of 6 year olds - 10 to be exact. We made some amazingly colourful cupcakes, finger sandwiches and then decorated cupcake boxes to take home the leftovers home in.
Such fun! And thank you to the lovely parents who helped out and commented on what a lovely idea for a party it was. I think so too!😁
