Sometimes teaching has those special moments and today is a wonderful day. My student gave me a wonderful gift.
You have a student in which you can see so much potential trapped inside. Sadly, they have spent their life carrying the burden of being told by 'educators' that they can't, they are stupid, they will never be able. If, as a teacher, you can help unlock that cage and free what has always been there, you can smile.
A student who has been told she will never be able to speak or write in English produced this. It was always there, she just had to believe it. So very proud of you Karina.

During this Covid 19 pandemic everyone around the world is going through difficult times, and for many, there are more important things than studying English to focus on.

Lots of people had planned to travel to study and now this is not an option. Don’t worry! English isn’t going anywhere, and it will be there when times are better. In the meantime, try exposing yourself to the language in other ways. Watch English-language TV and films, or maybe listen to some audiobooks, read magazine articles and more - there are many resources to be found online.

There are, however, a few for which this is not enough. Those requiring certifications for employment or University entry, which is time-critical should these academic institutions open as usual later in the year. To continue your applications/entry requirements you need to be prepared so you can receive your certifications as soon as possible.

Currently, exam centres are not open, but you can still prepare and then book your exam at your local centres as soon as they reopen.

If you fall into this more urgent category then feel free to contact me. I can help by providing online Skype tuition for all levels, and in particular, Cambridge FCE, CAE, IELTS etc., all in the comfort of your own home.

Remember, most important is the safety of you and your loved ones so please take care and follow all guidelines.
