🍂 Harvest Assembly 🍂
A huge thank you to our wonderful Freethorpe families for your incredibly generous donations of non-perishable food items for Acle Foodbank and root vegetables for our Harvest soup. Your generosity has helped us celebrate Harvest by thinking about the importance of sharing, giving and supporting others within our community.
Our donations were presented as part of our Harvest Assembly today, where we explored the meaning of Harvest and celebrated together through readings from Rev Greenland, poetry, beautiful artwork, songs and musical performances from pupils who are learning the violin, viola and flute. 🎶🎻🎨
A very special thank you also goes to our wider school team and community for everything that went into making the celebration possible: from preparing our delicious Harvest soup and baking bread, to teaching instruments, practising songs and creating such beautiful artwork.
It was a lovely opportunity to come together as a school community and celebrate the talents, generosity and kindness of our children, families and wider community.
