My name is Emma and I am an OFSTED registered childminder based in Freckleton with full public liability insurance. I have a BA Hons degree in Early Years and have my Early Years Teacher Status. I can provide a safe, loving, stimulating, secure and happy setting where every child can reach their full potential. I have experience of working with children with special educational needs.

A lovely day welcoming a new little member on board who did absolutely fantastic on her first day. We got our waterproofs on and headed for Blackpool Zoo as we’ve not been all summer and it was great to go back! We were very excited to catch a little glimpse of the tiny lion cubs who were sheltering from the rain but our new little lady got very excited when she saw the tiger walk past the window! 🐅
We then stopped off to wished Zaiya the baby elephant a happy birthday who was 1 year old today!

A lovely day today enjoying the sunshine at the ‘turtle beach’ chosen by our big girls whose celebrating a birthday tomorrow and chose where she wanted to go! It was a great choice as we could try out our new wheels😂 with the little ones too! We were very excited when we did in fact spot the turtle who was having a sunbath! 🐢
A play on the park before a play on the beach where we made sandcastle and filled our buckets full of pebbles! 💕
Then back home for some birthday cake as it was a bit windy for candles today!💕

And just like 6 years of caring for 2 gorgeous girls from a lovely family has gone so fast as their second little lady starts her new adventure at big school. It’s always a privilege to be a small part of a little persons start in life. We’ve had the best adventures together but she’s absolutely ready for her next one.💕

A day of mixed emotions today as we said goodbye to one of our big boys who has been with us since such a tiny person! He chose an adventure at Hollywood with a Spider-Man tuff spot and painting! This boy has been an absolute pleasure and just the best company and will be missed by everyone but he is so ready for his next big adventure at school and I know he will absolutely smash it💙💙💙

The 2 bigger ones are chosing where their adventures are as they are in there last few days before they move onto their next chapter at big school and today they chose another one of their favourites ‘the turtle beach’. We packed our buckets and spades and headed off first stopping to look at the swan family who we’ve watched hatch before jumping across the stepping stones. A play on the park before finding a great spot on the beach. Chips to go with lunch and then as a special treat a ride on the St Anne’s beach train which we absolutely loved!

We’ve had a lovely day in the beautiful sunshine and a welcome visit from one of our very biggest girls who everyone absolutely adores💕. We had an adventure at Lytham Hall where it’s starting to feel quite like Autumn and it’s all looking very beautiful. We found blackberries, went to check on the progress of the giant pumpkin, ran up the hill to the flag pole to see the beautiful house and entertained ourselves for ages on the tractor tyre jumping and balancing! 💕

A great day spent with friends today on an adventure at Worden Park. Giant Slides, sand play, balancing and giant maze we couldn’t find our way out of gave us lots of giggles!😂💕

We’ve had the best adventure at a new place we’ve found! We fed the animals and met some very friendly goats, found a very old tractor much to the delight of one little person and best of all we had some very very yummy raspberry and white chocolate milkshake that we watched being mixed in the machine especially for us! We’d only driven out of the gates and the little people had asked to go again for more milkshake!🐄

On the countdown now to the final few weeks before 2 little people leave to start their next big adventure at school so when one announced he needed to go to see the ‘ big shiny ball’ and the planets we headed off for the Solaris Centre, Blackpool and what a fab morning it turned out to be. We talked about the planets, had a play on the park but a highlight was definitely exploring the beautiful gardens hunting for the hidden snails. We were lucky enough to be gifted a lovely bug house kit by one of the lovely, friendly volunteers who was tending to the garden 🐞🦋🐝. Then off to see the glitter ball to spot ourselves in the mirror tiles as it spun around in the sunshine ☀️

A lovely day to end the week with a new little recruit coming for a settling in session who did amazingly well. Off for a chilled out session of forest schools at Hollywood. Axe throwing, hammocks, mud kitchen, using tools and lots more before a picnic lunch in the sunshine.☀️
