Meet Isla! 👋🏼🌈🥰

Isla is one of our fantastic Early Years Practitioners in the Discoverers Room!

Isla says her favourite part of working at Playbarn is seeing the children build their confidence and learn new skills every day. For Isla, seeing that development is so rewarding, and she also loves that she's always learning new things from the other staff members too!

Drop some ❤️ for Isla in the comments! 🥰

☀️ Sunshine Room’s Beach Week! 🌊
What an incredible week we had celebrating all things beach the other week! Even when the rain tried to keep us indoors, we made sure the fun didn't stop.

Here are some of our favourite highlights from the week:

🏝️ Adventures on the Shore: We went on two wonderful trips to the beach! The children loved feeling the sand on their bare feet, paddling in the water, and splashing around.
🏰 Learning & Creating: We built big sandcastles, used sticks as natural writing tools to make marks in the sand, and went on a treasure hunt to find big stones.
❤️ Reunions: It was so lovely to see our old teachers and friends from Playbarn!
💦 Bringing the Beach Inside: On the rainy days, we brought the beach straight to us! We explored sand and water in the room and garden, painted our collected stones, and used sand to create gorgeous textured pictures for our wall.
🥞 Cafe Trip: On Friday, we wrapped up our adventure with a trip to the Beach Cafe for a delicious snack!

Bringing the beach to Playbarn! 🌊🐚

Our babies loved exploring the sand tray and sea creature sensory sheets during beach week. Complete with ocean waves and underwater animal sounds on Alexa, it was a full sensory adventure! 🦀🏝️
