🌊 Meet the Team: Chris — Kayak Instructor & Safety Boater 🛶
Part of the Saul Junction story since day one, Chris worked as a Bridge Keeper & Green Flag Manager for the CRT when Discover Paddling launched in 2021. He also volunteers with the CRT, taking disadvantaged young people out on the water and introducing newcomers to paddling.

"What I love about watersports is the connection to nature while doing a physical activity with like-minded people. Training as a Paddle Instructor let me carry on my passion for educating people while enjoying a challenging physical activity — the happiness on people's faces after a session is so rewarding."

Our first "Paddle with Mum" — what a morning! 🛶
On Sunday we hosted our very first "Paddle with Mum" session on the beautiful Stroudwater Canal, run in partnership with Cotswold Canals Connected and Stroud Valleys Project 🌞
This event was all about helping families access the canal together and create memories on the water, exactly why we do what we do.

🎉 10 years of Discover Paddling.
Last week, we celebrated 10 years of Discover Paddling in the best way we know how.
We invited our amazing community for a paddle, including those from , , and our amazing Discover Paddling team.
This evening proved that our community is the best there is, the most welcoming and friendly group who love the waterways.
Ten years in, and it still feels like the beginning. We are so excited to share the plans we have to continue coaching, leading trips, and allowing more people to fall in love with water sports.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and joined us on the water. Whether you have paddled with us for a decade or are simply curious about getting started, you would always be welcome.
