SKMA Tang Soo Do (Karate) D.K.M.A is a local Martial Arts Group in Forres and Hopeman.

We are a family focused club building life skills within children and helping adults introduce fitness and confidence through tradition. Our classes start from age 3.5 years and we have classes to suit all ages & abilities. So come along and try a class as you get 2 FREE trial classes to decide whether you like our programmes.

🥋 BELT TESTING WEEKEND 🥋

What a fantastic weekend of hard work, determination and achievement 💪🔥

Our latest belt testing saw lots of promotions, with students putting everything on the line and demonstrating the skills, techniques and knowledge they’ve worked so hard to develop ✅

There was a huge amount of syllabus covered, with plenty of challenging assessments along the way and some very well-earned results 👊👏

A special mention must also go to our Black Belt Leadership Team, who stepped up to manage, support and assess the testing throughout the weekend. It was fantastic to see our senior grades taking on that responsibility and helping the next generation progress 🙌🏼

We also had some successful candidates qualify towards full Black Belt testing in the next cycle. An incredible milestone and the beginning of the final push towards Black Belt within the Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation 🖤🥋

❤️ A very special shout out to Mr Leo Cochrane ❤️

What an achievement! Leo was the youngest and lowest belt taking part in our Red & Black Belt grading on Friday, surrounded by many senior students and facing one seriously tough test 🙌🏼

But he absolutely smashed it 🔥

Through hard work, determination and plenty of grit, Mr Cochrane successfully attained his 1st Gup 🥳👏

Now the countdown begins ..… to attain his Black Belt 🥋🖤

We couldn’t be prouder of you. Keep pushing, keep believing and keep smashing those goals 👊

From our youngest Tigers taking on their first testing challenges, right through to our Black Belt pre-testings, everyone has put in the effort, shown determination, and stepped up when it mattered 🐯💛🧡💚❤️🖤
