Overview

Logie Steading Photography Walks are set around the beautiful Steading area and garden.

You will be working through some tasks, while gaining tips and tricks aimed at improving your photography.

The Photography Walk is suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Whether you use a camera, phone or tablet, come along and enjoy a relaxing and educational afternoon.

Have you ever considered a career in photography, or are you looking for guidance to help inform your school subject or further education choices?

This event aims to raise awareness of the diverse and popular career pathways and specialist genres within the photography industry.

The evening will be led by Gary Murison, who has successfully operated a commercial photography and photography education business since 2010.

Following a presentation highlighting common routes into a career in photography, there will be an open Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and speak with Gary about careers, education, and the realities of working as a professional photographer.

Overview
This is part of the ‘learn to use your equipment’ series of workshops. The Urban Grunge Photography Workshop supports learning about using flash and hard light modifiers to create atmospheric, powerful and dramatic images.

The workshop is designed to help you to fine-tune your control and understanding of light, with a special emphasis on embracing hard light to add contrast, drama, and precision to your storytelling images. Aided by model Stacy, you will explore the use of hard light through a combination of theory and hands-on practice.
