Full Job Description

We are looking for two Qualified Early Year Practitioners to become part of our growing team. One position is based within our 0-2 years department, with the other in our 3-5 years department.

Qualified with an HNC in Childcare/ SVQ 3 or equivalent .

With Knowledge and understanding of the birth to three, realising the ambition,Curriculum for Excellence,Planning procedures /Observations and other up to date relevant childcare documents.

The position is full time Monday -Friday.

Salary: £19,000- £22,404

We are looking for a cook for within our Nursery School at The Wendyhouse Forfar requires 17-20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have cooking experience and have a knowledge for health and safety standards, also be willing to undertake any further training necessary.
The position requires a PVG background check for working within our childcare setting. The perfect candidate would hold a childcare qualification, this would be an asset but not essential. This can be the NNEB / SVQ 3 or HNC in childcare.

This is an opportunity to gain SVQ level 3 in Social services and young people whilst working in a Early Years setting.
You will be interacting as part of a team to support the provision of high quality early learning and childcare to provide a nurturing and caring environment which supports children’s learning and development
Applications are welcomed from candidates who have gained 3 national 5’s or 3 standard grades at level 4 or above ( one must be English) Exceptions may be made if the candiadate demonstrates their practical skills in this field.

This is a part-time position. We are looking for someone to join the nursery who will be able to work well as a team member, whilst confident to effectively work independently.

Knowledge of the birth to three essential , with further knowledge of curriculum for excellence and other relevant childcare documents.
