Amazing feedback from last weeks Sandstone Rope Work Course for Hatt Adventure: “Did the Sandstone Ropework Course with Andy, really great course for working with sandstone and working with improvised anchor points.

“Andy was a fantastic instructor, fully engaging and professional throughout, adapted coaching and instruction to the needs and experience of the group, full of knowledge and experience and was clearly passionate to share this. Thoroughly enjoyed - would recommend Hatt and Andy”

DofE Instructor Tips: getting groups to slow down and take in the surroundings is always a challenge. But if they know the clues to help them at the foundation stage, ensuring groups can relate simple sign posts and direction to the map the won’t go far wrong.

Another enjoyable course run for Hatt Adventures. Great when you can inspire and educate keen adults to becoming independent climbers by the end of the day. As I always say at the end of the course, make sure to consolidate what you’ve learnt by getting to the wall and embedding those new skills. Looking forward to the next climbing experience course.
