Using my voice has always been one of my superpowers. 💪

I remember one very vivid memory of my childhood that led me to feel the intense power of speaking up for what I thought it was right.

I was in Year 1, 6 years old, in a State School. Everyone was sitting down, quiet. We were having a Maths test. The teacher was extremely strict and had unreasonable rules for that age group. One of them was that we could not go to the toilet during the lessons; only in break time. And one of my classmates, Andrés, had a tummy ache, and he needed to go to the toilet in the middle of the exam. He asked for permission but the teacher said a firm No. Andrés immediately cried and in a few seconds; he made himself poo in the classroom. I couldn’t stand that unfairness and stood up from my desk, told the teacher that she was a bad person, and helped Andrés to leave his desk to go to the toilet. I then was punished for replying back to the authority.

As I grew up, I have found myself in several situations in which I have had to stand up for myself and for others. I have gained confidence within the years of practice, and have learned that it is not only a matter of using our voices, but the impact of the words we choose and how we use them.

But as women, we have learned since thousands of years ago, generation from generation, no matter the culture or the background… that we get to silence our deep emotions and to put them away, as if they didn't matter -or didn't exist-, because we have been taught to be “good girls”, to be obedient, and quiet, and compliant of the people in charge.

So, how do we reconnect ourselves with our life force, with our inner power?

We start by choosing more freedom and by using assertiveness as a tool to bring about the necessary changes in our lives.

And how do we do that?

By being true to ourselves and to what is right for us, by feeling our deep emotions, by being aware of them, and by clarifying our values, our likes, dislikes, and most of all, by becoming comfortable with our own inner selves.

When we do this inner work of assertiveness, we create more genuine, healthy, balanced relationships.

I am inspired by creating a space for women to come and learn powerful tools to take the next steps in their lives.

That's why I invite you to join me on an experiential workshop that I will be delivering on Tuesday 19th, Thursday 21st and Monday 26th of October, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm each day, at The Anderida Community, in Forest Row.

The topic of the workshop is Assertiveness Behaviour 💪🏼💞

Price: £30

I am clearing out and releasing everything that doesn't serve me.

I am letting go and slowly creating a new space for the things I want.

I trust that change is an opportunity for new ideas and growth.

I allow myself to see what opportunities lay ahead more clearly.

May all the good things come! 🙏🌟❤

NEW POST on my Blog:

"What’s wrong with women, and why do they usually treat like $h¡Ť to each other?"

Think about it, be honest:

😒 Are you one of those who feels threatened or intimidated by another woman that is confident?

😠 Do you feel anger towards a woman who works hard to fulfil her dreams?

🤯 Does the kind of gal that does not wait for a Prince Charming to rescue her irk you?

😡 What about the girl who is charismatic, has a beautiful smile and an engaging personality that attracts others?

It is OK; you are not the only one. We live in a world where being envious is not only normalised, but expected. This is results from generations of conditioning women to compete passively aggressively for the attention of men.

Social media and its influencers play a key role in this female resentment as they have increased the levels of anxiety, depression and lack of self-confidence in women around the world.

But the truth is… no one is better than anyone!

No amount of beauty, success or money will ever fulfil you, unless you have love for yourself. You can be THE MOST beautiful, successful and wealthy woman on Earth, and still feel unloved.

Therefore, comparing to other women is like giving yourself permission to feel unworthy, completely ignore all YOUR blessings and talents.

You CAN have the things and be the person even BETTER than the women you cut down!

This is a call to all the Single / Divorced Mums in area!

In the past four years, I have learned that we, as a collective, are experiencing "Support Deficit". So, we need to create growth-orientated relationships, where we feel safe and free to share and support others, who are in the same space like us.

That's why we get to expand the field of support, in order to thrive in life as mothers, women and members of a community.

I felt inspired to create this group for Single Mum's Empowerment in the village, and to lift each other high, because we are so worth it! 😍❤

I invite you to meet twice a week, in a local place (yet to be confirmed), and have a connection time to grow together.

If you are interested, please send me a PM.

Love,

Kizzy 💗

📌 Do you request the return of borrowed items without being apologetic?

📌 Do you talk about your talents and triumphs openly without embarrassment?

📌 Can you speak in front of a group?

📌 Do you maintain eye contact, keeping your head upright, and leaning forward when in a personal conversation?

📌 Are you comfortable with receiving a compliment and saying something assertive to acknowledge that you agree with the person complimenting you?

📌 Are you comfortable saying NO, refusing to do a favour when you really don't feel like it?

If you relate to any of these questions, chances are you might benefit on learning to be more assertive, by stepping out and making yourself heard.

Join our Assertiveness workshop, and learn new tools to practice in real life.

We will start on 06 October, 2021.
