We are saddened to share that Coach House Day Nursery will be closed from Tuesday 31st March.

🌞 Our Morning Routines Need a Little Teamwork! 🌞

Some mornings are full of giggles, and some are full of “Where did your other shoe go?” or “We just brushed your hair!” 👟🙆 And that’s okay — mornings can be busy for little ones who are still learning their routines.

That’s why we’re so grateful for our amazing parents and carers who help children start their day with confidence. Whether it’s helping to put on coats, giving a reassuring cuddle or just simply taking a few moments to sit with their child and read a story to make the transition a smooth one... those small moments make a big difference.☺️

Here’s to the parents who help turn chaotic mornings into successful starts. You’re doing more than you know, and it truly matters 💛

🌿 The Great Outdoors Is Calling 🌿

This week at The Coach House Day Nursery, the great outdoors didn’t just invite our children out to play — it swept them up into a world of imagination, exploration, and joyful messiness.

As we prepared our vegetable garden for the new planting season, little hands eagerly dug into the soil, uncovering wriggly worms and hidden treasures beneath the surface. What started as gardening quickly grew into so much more.

In our mud kitchen, the children stirred up “soup” and baked “bread,” proudly serving their creations with the seriousness of master chefs. Nearby, others mixed mud with paint, turning earthy textures and natural colours into expressive works of art. Every moment was a reminder that nature is the best playground — and the best teacher.

Out in the fresh air, the garden became a place to learn, imagine, and create. A place where curiosity leads the way and where children grow right alongside the seeds we’ll soon be planting.

Here at The Coach House Day Nursery, childhood is meant to be lived outside — muddy, magical, and full of wonder.

What a lovely (and very wet!) week we’ve had in nursery 🌧️🌈 The children have been full of energy, curiosity, and plenty of giggles despite the rainy weather. We’ve splashed through puddles, enjoyed cosy indoor activities, and made the most of every moment.

A huge shout‑out to the children who had to change nursery for the day when the roads were flooded 🚗💦 We were so proud of how confidently they handled the change — settling in beautifully, showing resilience, and bringing their smiles with them. They really impressed us.

We’ve loved watching friendships grow, imaginations run wild, and little acts of kindness pop up everywhere 🤝✨

Looking forward to more fun (hopefully a bit drier!) next week. Thanks for sharing your wonderful little ones with us — they brighten every day ☀️💛
