Day One in Munich 🇩🇪
A 3am start didn’t stop us. We refuelled with lunch at a bustling Bavarian market before exploring Munich on foot, following the route of the Munich Putsch and discovering the city’s rich history along the way.

We have had a great day at Parc Astérix today. There are so many great rides there and we saw the characters we have been learning about in French lessons too. We’ve finished the evening at a restaurant (without phones, of course) and had a lovely time chatting about the day. Last day tomorrow and we’re heading home via a chocolate factory.

What an epic day! We’ve been to the Louvre and seen the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Nike and some very impressive rooms. Then we climbed the Eiffel tower before spending the evening in Montmartre and sampling the snails. What a very French day!

Year 8 have had a great first day in Paris! We visited the Catacombes de Paris and were very curious about the history behind it. The boat trip was beautiful and we managed to see Notre Dame on our way to dinner. Students have been really respectful and great company too. 🇫🇷

🎨🪟 Another window painting is in progress!

This design has been inspired by Alice’s personal studying 3D Design, alongside her recent visit to Salisbury Cathedral and work experience in stained glass.

We hope you enjoy this creative piece, which reflects our Summer Term theme and celebrates the inspiration that can be found through art, design, and local heritage.
