Hyde Preschool & Forest Schools Hyde Preschool is a small, friendly, committee-run pre-school in the New Forest. We offer a safe, stimulating and caring environment for children.

Hyde Pre-School is a small, friendly, committee-led Pre-School run from Hyde Church Community Centre, which was completely renovated in 2015. We offer well-resourced indoor and outdoor facilities with direct access onto the New Forest. We offer a safe, stimulating and caring environment where children between the ages of 2 and a half and 5 years old can develop through play and their experiences.

We use the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework and Development Matters to shape our curriculum. All children are assigned a key worker when they start at Hyde and we use the online learning journal, Tapestry to record your child’s learning and development. We have regular adventures into the natural environment with weekly Forest Schools sessions with our qualified Forest Schools Leader. We welcome parental involvement and our highly qualified experienced staff will work in partnership with you to reach your child’s full potential. All children are eligible for 15 hours government funding from the term after their third birthday. We also accept 2 year old and 30 hour funding for those who are eligible. We are flexible with the sessions that you may require for your child.

First day back at Hyde has already come and gone. Clare and I are still learning the ropes so please bare with us but if there is anything you would like to talk about/any suggestions you may like to make, we are there everyday 🙂
