DID YOU KNOW Β£1 billion worth of fuel is wasted in the UK annually due to underinflated tyres? This accounts for more than 50% of the tyres on the road and doesnβt even consider excessive wear and the premature requirement to replace them. Checking your tyre pressures regularly is a simple way to reduce waste and improve fuel efficiency.

Changes to driving test booking happening today. β οΈ
From today (9 June), if you move your driving test, you can only move it to one of the 3 nearest test centres to where it's currently booked.
This is the remaining change we committed to make by the end of Spring 2026:
π
31 March β test changes limited to 2 per booking
π 12 May β only learners can book, change or cancel their own test
π 9 June β test moves limited to 3 nearest centres
Since 12 May, we've suspended 3605 accounts for breaking the rules and reported apps to app stores for removal. We're not stopping there.

A part-worn tyre can look like a bargain, but appearances can be deceptive. Unless it has been thoroughly inspected and marked as legal, you may be taking home someone elseβs problem. Tyres are your only contact with the road, so safety should always come before saving a few pounds.

π¨From 9 June, learner drivers will only be able to move their driving test to nearby test centres.
If you book a new test from this date, you will only be able to move your test to:
β
any of the 3 centres nearest to where your test is booked
β
the test centre you first booked at on that current booking
If you have an existing booking, the new rule will apply to where your test is booked at on 9 June β not where you first booked.

STOP! π Have you checked your tyre pressure recently?
As tyres naturally lose some air, it is important to check your tyre pressure regularly. If not, you risk losing grip and increasing your braking distances. You can also damage your tyres, shorten their life and increase your fuel consumption.
