Safeguarding training works best when people can see how it connects to the work they do every day.

That was really important in our work with Hilton Nursing Partners.

We spent time understanding their service, listening to staff feedback and adapting the training so it felt relevant, practical and useful to the team. The aim was simple: to help people leave the session feeling more knowledgeable, more confident and better prepared to respond when safeguarding concerns arise.

The results were really encouraging.

97% increased their safeguarding knowledge and understanding

96% felt more confident identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns

98% said the training was relevant to their role and day to day practice

100% would recommend the training to colleagues

For us, that is what good training should do. It should give people knowledge they can actually use, while creating the confidence to make safer decisions for the people they support.

This role is field based and will require travel across East Kent.

The school holidays are the perfect time to let imaginations run wild, and the Big Writing Challenge is back!

This year's theme is The Power of Kindness ❤️

Whether it's a story about an unexpected act of kindness, a poem celebrating friendship, or an inspiring tale of someone making a difference, we want to hear from young writers across Kent.

The Big Writing Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for children and young people to express themselves, build confidence in their writing, and get creative over the summer break.
