🎉🎓 **GCSE SUCCESS AT TURNER FREE SCHOOL!** 🎓🎉

It’s a day of huge celebration at Turner Free School as our students collect their GCSE results – and what a year it has been! 🥳👏

Our students have achieved the BEST GCSE RESULTS EVER SEEN AT TURNER FREE SCHOOL! 🌟📚

This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of our students, supported every step of the way by our dedicated staff, families and carers. 💙🙌

Throughout the year, students have gone above and beyond, taking part in additional revision workshops, holiday revision sessions and a residential revision trip to King’s School in Canterbury. The school has also continued to provide students with a wide range of careers opportunities, helping them to understand the exciting possibilities ahead.

From September, our students will be heading on to apprenticeships, vocational courses and A-level study, beginning the next exciting chapter of their educational and career journeys. 🎓✨

🌿 **Turner Schools Green Action Community Day 2026** 🌿

Our pupils and staff went above and beyond on Thursday for this year's 💚Turner Schools Green Action Community Day💚, making a real difference across our local communities.

With a focus on sustainability and environmental action, pupils from across the Trust took part in a fantastic range of activities. From litter picking and creating inspiring art installations to delivering bird feeders and water-saving packs to local residents, as well as sharing food and plants, they demonstrated kindness, creativity and a real commitment to caring for our environment.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff ⭐for their dedication and enthusiasm in creating unique and inspiring opportunities for our young people, all centred around taking positive green action.

We also hope everyone who visited 🎵The Goods Yard 🎭at Folkestone Harbour Arm enjoyed the wonderful performances, poetry and films showcasing our pupils' creativity and passion for protecting our planet. Thank you to the team who supported the event!

Finally, a very special thank you to 💜Folkestone & Hythe District Council💜 for their Green Grant, which made this fantastic day possible.

Thank you to everyone for their donations for the food bank so far. The pupils have been out this morning collecting from roads around the school.

Don't worry if you haven't donated yet as the pupils will be coming back out at 2pm to do another collection. Please leave your donations in a bag outside your house.
