For the last 6 years Iâve been sat at around 500 followers. The number didnât matter. It proves you donât need thousands of followers to build a business doing something you love. Those 500 followers were enough for me to build a business teaching hooping, performing, running workshops and working at festivals.
But then I decided I wanted to help other hoopers do the same.
That meant talking about my course more, showing up differently and reaching people outside my little corner of the hoop world. Iâm not gonna lie, I worried people would get fed up with me talking about it or think Iâd become too salesy.
Instead, youâve all been amazing đ
The people whoâve supported me for years are still here, cheering me on, and new people who needed what Iâm creating have found me too.
So today, hitting 1,000 followers feels really special. Not because of the number, but because it reminds me that you donât have to shrink yourself to grow.
Thank you for every message, comment, share and bit of encouragement. Iâm so grateful for every single one of you and for the amazing ladies already inside my community.
And to every single person here, whether youâve been following me for years or youâve only just found me, Iâm rooting for you too!
