Today we celebrated the feast day of St. Vincent de Paul. Pupils explored the work of SVP and we celebrated a beautiful staff Mass after school. A special thanks to Fr. Fretch for celebrating Mass with us.

We've had a busy september with our year 7s so far...

As part of their welcome to SRG they were all given the opportunity to walk to our local parish Church last week.

Our young people learned all about the features of a Catholic Church, explored the Sacristy and Gallery and got to ask lots of questions.

Then this week the RE Dept and Year 7 team ran two Emmaus days around the theme "I am the light of the world" they played Ice Breaker games, did workshops, and even played footy with Fr.Fretch at break time

Our young people then planned and took an active roll in the Mass and celebrated as a year group.

A fabulous first few weeks. Well done year 7 and welcome to St Richard Gwyn 🙏
