We are absolutely delighted with the completion of our fantastic new MUGA surface!
Although many of our children and families have already had the chance to see and enjoy the new surface, we wanted to take a moment to share this special video and celebrate what has been a huge achievement for our school and wider community.
Seeing our children running onto the new surface, full of excitement and enthusiasm, really captures exactly why this project was so important.
Projects like this don’t happen without the support, dedication and hard work of many people, and we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped make it possible.
A special thank you goes to our wonderful office staff and our fantastic PTFA. Their organisation, commitment and determination throughout the project have been invaluable, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they have done.
A huge thank you also goes to our parents and children for their continued support, encouragement and enthusiasm. We are so pleased that our children and our community now have an improved space to learn, play, compete and enjoy being active.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Fleetwood Town Council and the Lancashire Culture and Sport Committee for their support, guidance and contribution towards this project. Their help has played an important part in making this fantastic facility a reality.
This MUGA will be enjoyed by our children and wider community for many years to come, and we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that we have achieved our School Games PE Platinum Award for the very first time!

This is an incredibly significant achievement for our school and one that has been many years in the making. Reaching Platinum represents the culmination of years of hard work, commitment, development and determination from our whole school community. It is a wonderful milestone and one that we are extremely proud to have reached.

The Platinum Award recognises our long-standing commitment to PE, sport, physical activity, inclusion and personal development, as well as the incredible range of opportunities we provide for our children. From competitions and festivals to clubs, physical activity, leadership opportunities and inclusive events, our children have been given so many opportunities to develop, challenge themselves and enjoy being active.

This award is a reflection of years of dedication from our staff and, most importantly, our children – and it is a truly special achievement for our school.

We have been incredibly proud to see our children try new activities, challenge themselves, develop new skills, build confidence and work together as a team. Most importantly, they have shown that being active is something to enjoy and celebrate!

I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone, including our incredible staff and all of the amazing coaches who have contributed to this wonderful achievement. Your time, enthusiasm and commitment have provided our children with so many fantastic opportunities.

A huge thank you to Wyre and Fylde School Sports Partnership for everything you do, for your support along the way and for the many opportunities you provide for our children. We are extremely grateful.

A big thank you also goes to Fleetwood Town Community Trust for helping us to give our children such a wide range of sporting experiences.

But above all, I want to give a huge thank you to all of our incredible children. You have represented our school with such pride, commitment and enthusiasm, always showing fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship. You have given your very best and made us incredibly proud.

I would also like to say a massive thank you to our brilliant parents and carers for your continued support.

Dear Parents and Carers,

Please could we kindly ask that all children are collected promptly at the end of the school day today. This will allow staff to make their way to the front of school to celebrate our Year 6 pupils as they leave Chaucer for the final time.

Our Year 6 children will be making their way out of school at approximately 3:35pm, and we would love as many staff as possible to be there to give them the send-off they deserve.
