🌊 Water Week — Holiday Club Week 4 💦

We’ve had the best time last week splashing and exploring all things water ! From lifeboat station visits, trying on gear and pebble art on the beach, to fun days at the splash park and Stanley Park where we went boating, fed the ducks and enjoyed picnics. We got soaked with sponge games, tug of war, slip and slide and the classic soak‑the‑teacher, then warmed up with a cosy movie afternoon with popcorn. We finished the week getting creative building our own junk‑model boats, before heading to the lake to test if they’d float! 🚤💙
A brilliant week full of adventures, laughter and messy, watery fun! ✨

💦 It’s WATER WEEK! 💦

We are making a splash all week long with lots of fun water play, messy fun and cool activities! 🩳💧

Today we going to the mount to have a huge slip and slide

Tomorrow we will be going to the splash park 💦💦 The children are so excited to run through the water jets, jump in the pools and cool off in the sunshine! ☀️

Just a friendly reminder for the rest of the week: please send your little ones in with their swimming costume, plenty of spare clothes, a towel and water shoes/Crocs so we can keep the fun flowing all week! 🩴🌊

Get ready to get wet and have fun! 🧡

🌍 Holiday Club Week 3: Jetting Off Around the World! ✈️

We started our adventure by making our very own passports and paper‑mache globes, ready to explore every corner of the globe 🗺️✨

We visited Japan to make cherry blossom trees and tie‑dye t‑shirts, travelled to France to bake delicious pastries, and got wonderfully messy with glowing Norwegian lights gloop! We crafted beautiful Chinese lanterns, made our own dream catchers, and enjoyed a fun piñata game in the garden wearing our very own Mexican moustaches 🪇

We even went on a special trip to the brand new soft play centre at YMCA Thornton, and finished our travels by making and eating our own tasty Italian pizzas for tea!

Such a busy, magical week full of creativity, laughter and wonderful new experiences 🧡

Simple joys in the sandpit in our baby unit today - exploring soft textures, watching grains fall, and sharing the warm sunshine side by side ☀️

These peaceful moments are so much more than just play. As the little ones run the sand through their fingers, they are strengthening those tiny hand muscles and exploring the world around them through touch. It is a wonderful way to discover nature, build curiosity, and feel safe, happy and connected simply by enjoying the moment alongside their friends 🧡

HOLIDAY CLUB !

Water week next week - please bring spare clothes each day ! Swimming costume and clothes they can wear over the top if they want or just clothes they want to swim in !

They will get 100% get wet and so will the staff 😂🤞

We have changing tents for the children so they can get changed in private on all trips.
