🌱🌋 What a fantastic week of learning! 🌋🌱

Our children have been busy exploring, experimenting and learning through lots of exciting hands-on activities!

🧪 We took part in a fun Skittles experiment, making colourful patterns and observing what happened when we added water.

🌋 We also made our very own volcanoes and enjoyed watching them erupt!

🌱 We planted cress seeds and learnt about the life cycle of plants, talking about what plants need to grow and change.

✏️ There have also been plenty of opportunities to practise writing our names, helping the children build confidence and develop their early writing skills.

It has been a wonderful week full of curiosity, discovery and learning! 💚✨

What a wonderful week at Nursery!

We’ve had a busy and exciting week full of learning, creativity and lots of fun! 💛

📖 Little Crane Story – Inspired by the crane we can see outside our nursery window, we enjoyed reading Little Crane and talking about what we could see happening outside. 🚧🏗️

🫧 Bubble Making – We explored bubbles, experimenting with making them and watching them float, pop and disappear!

✍️ Name Writing – We’ve been practising writing our names, showing fantastic perseverance as we kept trying, even when it felt tricky. We’re so proud of the children for not giving up! 🌟

📖 Our Core Book – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻
This week, our core book has been We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. The children have loved joining in with the repeated phrases and actions, exploring the different settings and talking about the sounds and textures they might experience along the way.

🧺 Picnic in the Park – We enjoyed some lovely time outdoors with a picnic in the park, making memories and enjoying our surroundings. 🌳☀️

🎨 Our New Playdough Station – We’ve also introduced our new playdough station, giving the children opportunities to create, imagine, squish, roll and mould their own wonderful ideas. 👐✨

We are delighted to welcome Tracy our new Deputy Manager to our Nursery family! 💛

We’re so excited to have you join our team and look forward to all the wonderful experiences, ideas and positive energy you will bring to our nursery. We know you’ll be a fantastic addition to our dedicated team and a wonderful support to our children, families and staff.

Tracy is a Mum to 6 grown up children and has been an outstanding childminder for almost 20 years.

We're also offering a couple of nursery tours, with spaces still available at 11:45am and 12:00pm.
