If you design and sell your own knitting or crochet patterns, meet I've met Megan in another group I'm in and wanted to tell you about her.

Megan is a qualified knitting and crochet technical editor, working with yarn companies, magazines and independent designers to make sure patterns are clear, accurate and ready to sell with confidence.

Technical editing is one of those unglamorous but essential steps a lot of makers skip, and it shows up later in support messages, refunds and frustrated customers.
If patterns are part of your income mix, or you're thinking about adding them, it's worth having someone like Megan in your corner.

It’s time….
I know you’d rather not know and happily carry on as you are.
But knowing your numbers is not just about putting up prices.
The makers who grow sustainable craft businesses with more reliable and consistent income know exactly what they need to charge, use pricing as data to make decisions about what products will work and which ones will never make them any money.
It’s information you can’t miss out on!
Grab my guide that shows you how to price- at least you’ll know, and it up to you if you use it.

It’s not a maths problem, you know the numbers.
It’s that charging what it’s actually worth still feels like you’re asking for too much.

Let me show you that pricing is a decision you’re allowed to make from fact, not from fear of what people will think.

Comment NUMBERS and I’ll send you my free pricing guide that helps you find the facts to become more confident in your pricing.

I had the most horrendous day yesterday. I was so unproductive that I gave myself a really hard time and ended up feeling even worse.
I'm knee-deep in research at the moment, too, trying to understand what it's like to make and sell handmade right now and run a creative craft business. I can see that a large proportion of the demographic I help are female and likely to be in a similar season of life.
So I felt compelled to share my story of how I felt yesterday, to let all women building creative businesses during perimenopause feel seen and heard, and to know that they are not alone.

So I wanted to say out loud, give yourself grace, work with the shifts, and know that taking days for walks or making the to-do list simpler without guilt is okay.
Your business won't fail because you need to adapt.
I'm here to talk to you if you need it, and my mission is to help makers thrive, not just survive - whatever season of life you're in 💕

This is what Lee said to me today and it got me thinking….🤔

I met from in a business membership, and she’s always been so supportive of all the content I create ❤️

Today, Lee was in London and asked if I’d meet with her to come do some content for her.

We captured loads of video, social media photos and content she can use for months.

Halfway through the day she said, “You know... this is something loads of creatives need help with.”

It hadn’t really crossed my mind.

But it made me realise that what feels natural to me, spotting content opportunities, capturing B-roll, thinking about storytelling, doesn’t feel natural to everyone.

Maybe this is something I should be helping more makers and creatives with...

🎥 Is creating content the part of your handmade business you constantly put off?

🗣️Tell me in the comments what you find hardest in your craft business right now.

The maths I been avoiding was the thing that turned my business from unreliable to more stable.

Everything changed from that point.
