We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Green Flag Eco School award for our second year, and this year we passed with merit!

As a school community we are working hard to improve our sustainability, our impact on the environment and educate our children (and staff) about nature, the environment, sustainable lifestyles, and how their small actions can make a big difference. It is lovely to have our hard work and actions recognised in this award - and it means we can continue to fly our Eco School's flag!

Can you crochet or knit? Or do you know someone who can? 🧶🪡
We would love members of our school and local community to knit or crochet blue and white flowers, which we will use to create a sustainable "welcome back to school" arch in September.

Using your own resources (wool / yarn) we welcome any size, shape or style of flower in blue and white. Make as many or as few as you would like.

Completed flowers can be dropped off at the school office before Tuesday 21st July or on Tuesday 1st September.

What a lovely, busy week we’ve had at Tweseldown! We’ve enjoyed trips to the beach, the FAST museum & the rainforest... The children have been incredible and have had such a fantastic time! We then finished the week with our eagerly awaited Sports Day. The children had a fab day, participating in various activities throughout the morning before enjoying a picnic lunch with family & a well deserved refreshing ice-lolly! Thank you to all our amazing Tweseldown families for coming along to join us, we hope you have enjoyed the day as much as we did💙
