💚🌟 HAPPY EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER DAY! 🌟💚

Today, we’re celebrating our incredible Team Flaxton and all the amazing things they do for our wonderful little people! 🥰

Every single day, our team goes above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where our children can learn, grow and thrive. From planning exciting, engaging activities to sharing those precious everyday moments, our practitioners play such a special role in each child’s early years journey. 🧸🎨✨

Whether it’s celebrating a first achievement, witnessing a new milestone or simply sharing a smile, our team helps create memories and experiences that will stay with our little ones for years to come. 💕 These moments are what make early years education so incredibly special!

We also want to recognise the dedication and commitment our team show behind the scenes. It was so inspiring to see everyone come together last night, giving up their own evening to attend our monthly staff meeting. 🌟

Our staff meetings provide valuable training and opportunities for learning, reflection and development, all of which are essential to delivering the very best care and education for our children. We are so grateful to every member of our team for their enthusiasm, commitment and passion for continuous professional development. 📚👏

🌿🌳 Exciting developments at our onsite Forest School! 🌳🌿

Over the past year, we’ve been working hard alongside our incredible maintenance team to make our Flaxton Forest School an even more magical place for our little explorers to learn, play and connect with nature. 💚

Unfortunately, the unpredictable British weather took its toll on some of our biggest and oldest trees, making them unsafe. The wonderful tree surgeons worked hard to ensure the area was safe, leaving behind some fantastic logs and useful wood chippings that we can put to great use as we continue to develop our outdoor space. 🪵🍂

🌱 Looking after our woodland is all part of the Forest School journey! While it was sad to say goodbye to some of our big, beautiful trees, we’re delighted to see that the saplings we planted a few years ago are thriving. It’s wonderful to watch them grow and know they’ll help shape our woodland for years to come.

We’re now adding those all-important finishing touches, including some exciting new resources to make our Forest School even more inspiring for our children. ✨🌿

🍂🍁 Autumn Adventures in Nursery! 🍁🍂

What a wonderful week of exploring, discovering and embracing everything autumn has to offer! 🧡🌿

👶 Our Babies have been busy exploring autumn through their senses! They loved getting hands-on with cinnamon-scented playdough, using their creativity to make their very own little hedgehogs 🦔, and experimenting with beautiful autumnal colours as they painted. What a lovely way to explore new textures, smells and colours! 🎨✨

🌦️ Our Toddlers have bravely embraced the ever-changing autumn weather and made the most of their outdoor adventures! They have loved getting creative in the mud kitchen, mixing, making and imagining alongside their preschool friends. There’s nothing quite like a little muddy fun! 🪵🍃

🌳 Our Preschoolers have been tuning into the world around them, using their listening ears to discover the wonderful sounds of nature. They have also been developing their physical skills, confidence and coordination as they climbed trees and explored the great outdoors. 🐦👂💚

Autumn is such a magical time of year, full of opportunities to explore, learn and make special memories together. We’ve loved every moment of this week’s adventures and can’t wait to see what next week brings! 🍂🥰

Our Cheeky Hens have be learning about themselves and each other this week 💚

They’ve been looking at themselves in the mirror and learning the names of their facial features. Then they’ve been drawing their own faces 😃🤪😮

We have also been finding out about different pets. We’ve shared lots of photos and they have been telling us the names of their pets showing us how their communication skills are really blossoming 🐱🐶
