🍎 The right nursery should feel right from the moment you walk through the door.

It's not something you can always put into words. It's the warm welcome, the calm atmosphere and the way the team interact with the children that often tell you you've found the right place.

If you're beginning your nursery search, we'd love to welcome you to Apple Trees Childcare and show you around our family-focused village nursery.

🍎 Wondering if your one-year-old is ready for nursery?

It's a question many parents ask, and the answer is often less about age and more about finding an environment where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

At Apple Trees Childcare, we understand that every child is different, which is why we take the time to get to know each family and help every little one settle with confidence.

Yesterday the Snails had great fun using their fingers to create fingerprints to add leaves to our Trees! They learnt about all the colours during Autumn and spoke about the different things they can see during the season such as acorns and falling leaves 🍂 All the snails did such a good job 👏

Recycling Week ♻️

The children have taken part in an activity that uses all the wonderful recycling donated by the parents- Thank you for this!!

We setup a lovely activity in the garden, we glued lots of junk modelling to a big piece of cardboard and attached it to the fence and gave the children some paint, paint brushes and toothbrushes to create some large scale art work.

The children really enjoyed the activity and it gave them a good opportunity to talk about lots of things, including why we recycle and what can be recycled. Also we talked about counting and colours.

Well done everyone your art is fantastic 🖼🌟

This week the Butterflies have enjoyed building their own houses! They repeated shape and colour names, correctly saying some of the bright colours. They used their glue spreaders perfectly.
We spoke about the different bedrooms. Each children saying "mummy" "daddy" when talking about the rooms.
Before adding the glue, Amy directed the children on where to place parts eg; the roof goes 'on top' of the house. They were able to understand and follow these directions!

Great job Butterflies!!! 🦋
