February half-term Needle felting and Origami Workshops.

This half-term we'll celebrate the beginning of the Chinese New Year, the year of the 🐉 , by sharing a big wok of longevity noodles and crafting together!
We will let our creativity soar while indulging in the softness of wool, the pliability of paper and the tastiness of noodles.

- Aimed at children 7-12 years old.
- £35 per child per day
- The workshops will run 9-3 on
Monday 12th,
Tuesday 13th,
Wednesday 14th and
Thursday 15th of February.
- Children can sign up for 1, 2, 3 or all 4 days while spaces last.

May half term woodwork workshops at The Valley (BS16)

Dear all,
I ́m pleased to announce that I’ll be running some woodwork workshops during the May half term.
During these sessions, we will learn about some of the more traditional tools and ways of processing wood and we’ll create toys and/or other items using basic such as saws, rasps and whittling knives and some more sophisticated ones, such as our hands.
I’m offering 2 sets of Woodwork Workshops for different age groups:

1 day - Monday 29th of May for 6-8 year olds - £35-40
Aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 8.
Price per child - £35-£40
(4 spaces left)

1 day - Tuesday 30th of May for 6-8 year olds
(NO spaces left)

3-day block from Wednesday 31 to Friday 2nd of June.
Aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 12.
Price per child for the 3 days - £105-120 (2 spaces left)

The projects and tools will vary depending on experience, age and ability.
The days will be 6 hours long, from 9:00-15:00.
All materials included.
We will keep a balance of work, rest and games throughout the day and spend some time exploring the woods.
Due to the nature of the craft, the maximum capacity for the workshops is 6 children per tutor.
In order to keep it accessible, I’d like to trial a sliding scale system, hence the price ranges above.

Happy new year everybody!

We have two spaces in our Monday Woodwork Group!
We have modified the length of the days to honour the need for rest during the deep winter season. Our sessions will run from 9:00-13:00 for this term.
Our new block starts on January 10th.

Course Details
- The course will run on Mondays 9:00 – 13:00/15:00 and is open to children 9+.
- An extension of the day will be offered for those who want/need it from 13:00-15:00.
- Cost: £25 for the 9-1 session and
£35 for the 9-3 session
- The sessions will be payed in termly blocks.
- The 9-1 session will be led by 2 tutors and the afternoon
session by 1 tutor.

Course Details
The course will run on Mondays 9:00 – 15:00 and is open to children 9-14.
Cost: £35 per session including materials (bespoke project materials may not be included).
Every session will be led by 2 experienced tutors.
We will take a maximum of 12 participants.
The courses run in blocks of 6/7 weeks.
Each block will be different from the previous ones as the participant’s skills progress through the year.
