This morning we are working on hand strength - making walnut shell boats and feeding the squirrels with the nut.

Fancy a Wednesday morning chilling out in the woods with us?
Get in touch!

Wednesday morning stay and play forest school sessions 9:30-11am.
Come chill out with some like minded adults while your child explores the woods. Campfire, hot drink and marshmallows included.

£10 per family. Paid on a half termly basis. Two sessions left of this term (excluding today) New term starts Wednesday 2nd November.

This week in our sessions we will be celebrating Autumn Equinox or Mabon. Equinox means 'equal light', on Equinox the day light is the same length as our night time, after Autumn Equinox or days get shorter and our nights longer until Spring Equinox in March.
Mabon is a pagan celebration and is one of the 8 wiccan Sabbats celebrated during the year. Mabon celebrates the Autumn Equinox. In Mythology, Mabon is the time when the God of Light was defeated by the God of Darkness, resulting in longer nights.

To celebrate I have harvested the abundance of apples from my tree and we will have a go at making toffee apples on the fire, I will also have some Autumn crafts available.
