Our staff spent yesterday morning participating in a Safeguarding and Child Protection in person training course, learning valuable strategies and best practice to help keep all children safe and supported at school.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and we are proud to continually develop our knowledge to provide the safest environment possible for our pupils.

A huge thank you to our incredibly supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Ropley-Frogs Pta. We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated and hands-on group of parents who continually give their time, energy, and enthusiasm to support our School

Their commitment helps provide our children with enriching educational experiences and so many wonderful additional opportunities. We are truly grateful for everything they do.

Longleat Safari Park -

Our Year 5 children were lucky enough to experience a fabulous day at Longleat Safari Park in the last week of term. Where they enjoyed seeing an amazing variety of animals, including hippos, gorillas, sea lions, koalas, crocodiles, meerkats and binturongs.

One of the highlights was the drive-through safari, where they spotted tigers, lions, cheetahs, Anne the elephant, camels and many other incredible animals!

As part of their visit, the children learned about habitats, conservation and how animals adapt to survive in their natural environments. They also discovered how Longleat supports wildlife both locally and around the world, and explored ways they can help protect their own local wildlife.

It was a memorable, exciting and educational experience for everyone! Thank you to our staff and additional helpers who went along on the day to provide our children with a fantastic, very memorable day at Longleat

Nicky and Jack our Ropley LAMDA teachers are incredibly proud of our students here at Ropley.

Their dedication throughout the LAMDA process, enthusiasm in every lesson, and commitment to working hard have truly paid off.

We are delighted to share that every single pupil achieved outstanding marks in their recent LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) examinations, with Distinctions all round, LAMDA's highest possible grade! 🌟

Fantastic Phonics Success! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to share that 96% of our Year 1 children passed their Phonics Screening Check this year! 🎉

This achievement is well above the latest available national average of 81%, meaning our pupils have exceeded the expected standard by an impressive 15 percentage points.

While the official national figure for this year's Year 1 Phonics Screening Check will not be published until October, the most recent national data shows that 81% of pupils met the expected standard. We are therefore over the moon that our Year 1 cohort has performed so strongly and is currently well above the national average.

A huge well done to our wonderful children and a massive thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families who have helped make this success possible. ⭐📚
