Today was another lovely day at our Summer Dance & Art Camp at Staynor Hall Community Centre.

It was a VERY hot one! ๐Ÿฅตโ˜€๏ธ So we adapted our day to make sure the children could still enjoy themselves, stay comfortable and get involved in as many of our planned activities as possible.

We managed to fit in lots of fun, including:

๐ŸŽจ Drawing, colouring & arts and crafts
๐Ÿ’ƒ Learning a street dance routine
โœจ Creating their own dance sections in groups
๐ŸŒณ A little bit of outdoor play before the temperature got too high
๐ŸŽฒ Games and plenty of fun along the way!

One of our favourite parts was watching the children work together to create their own pieces of choreography for the street dance routine. It was fantastic to see their ideas, confidence and personalities coming through! ๐Ÿ’›

A big part of our camps is giving children the opportunity to be creative, try something new and work together โ€” not just keeping them busy for the day.
