We are proud of the range of experiences that we offer your children and are always striving to provide every individual with what they need in order to achieve their full potential. ve a range of hands on learning opportunities and we are proud of the successes our children have because of their time at school. We are proud of all of our academic achievements but also value the time we spend developing other skills and values, for example our Forest Schools programme, our outstanding music offer, extensive sporting opportunities and our pastoral support to all of our children and families. We believe in developing the whole child, supporting every aspect of their development, and celebrating their individual strengths. We have successfully obtained our Silver Award as a Rights Respecting School with UNICEF and look forward to continuing our work towards the gold award. This means that we are good at embedding children’s rights into school life, considering social justice, fairness and developing our children as global citizens. We know that our children are well equipped for the next stage in their journey because of this work, alongside our other learning opportunities. At Fernhurst, we are honoured to work in partnership with parents, the community, other Rother Valley schools and the Chichester Academy Trust. We believe that by working together we will ensure your children achieve their potential and broaden their horizons. FREE JUNIOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Saturday 5th September | Fernhurst Tennis Club

Looking for a fun, friendly introduction to tennis competition for your child?

We are excited to be hosting a FREE Junior Tennis Tournament, organised by Go Tennis in partnership with Fernhurst Tennis Club.

Open to ALL local children aged 5–16, no membership required and all standards are welcome!

This event is all about bringing children together to enjoy tennis, experience competition in a supportive environment. Your child doesn't need to be a high standard or already competing. As long as they can rally, they can take part and underarm serves are absolutely fine.

RED & ORANGE BALL 12.00pm–1.00pm

Red and Orange Ball players will play on mini nets and smaller courts.

GREEN BALL 1.15pm–2.45pm

YELLOW BALL 3.00pm–5.00pm

🎵 Ever dreamed of rocking out on the electric guitar, keeping the beat on the drums, tickling the ivories on the keyboard, or singing like a superstar? Ana's music lessons are the perfect mix of fun and learning—no earplugs required (well, maybe for the drums!).

Students can choose the instrument (or voice!) they love, build confidence, and discover their musical groove while having a blast.
