Hi there, I’ve been in the studio today and I’ve been thinking a great deal about yesterday when family and friends said goodbye to a beautiful soul and a fellow creator who was laid to rest. Wendy would take a simple piece of metal and transform it into something beautiful and precious, a keepsake for years to come for many people in the area. Sadly her hands are now still
I feel fortunate to have known her for a little part of her journey and to have shared the connection of art with her, so today I’ve just been taking things slowly, pottering around the studio and remembering Wendy and our brief but lovely connection.
Big hugs and condolences to all of you who have walked alongside her at some point on her journey xx

🎨💌 A LITTLE PIECE OF ART, A BIGGER PURPOSE! 💛

I’m delighted to be donating one of my Dorset art postcards to the PGS Secret Postcard Sale, raising funds for the sixth-form area at Poole Grammar School.

As an artist based in Dorset, I love being able to use my creativity to support a local cause. Art has the power to bring people together, spark joy and make a difference — and I hope my little postcard will play a small part in something wonderful! ✨

You chose them. 💙💗

When I shared my new L’heure Bleue series and asked you to vote for your favourite, these two were the clear favourites — thank you so much.
I think they they look rather lovely together. ✨
I love the way they sit together: capturing the calm when the landscape becomes softer, and everything feels magical. And so silent.
When I went out to capture these, all I could hear were the ponies munching and the odd nightjar calling.
