We are returning to The Caterpillar Club on Monday 7th September. We can't wait to see all the children and hear what they have got up to over the holidays. Alongside welcoming new children to the setting.

Very busy week for the staff. We have been cleaning, sterilising and sorting all the resources inside. The cleaning has been continuing the sheds have been cleaned out and sorted. The floor inside has been scrubbed and the kitchen, Sammy Seal Room and Office are being sorted today. The construction area is also being swept and sorted. Thank you to all staff and Well done.

Thank you to all the parents who supported the Caterpillar Club at the Fete on the Field today we raised £428. It was so lovely to see students past and present 🥰 A great day.

This week the children have been preparing for a holiday, they have made their passports and looked at the World map at where they are or want to go. The children found a snail and it was treated like Royalty and had a feast of leaves to eat.

We have been planting potatoes this week. Our them is the natural World, looking at animals, mini beasts, plants and the weather. REMINDER Pedal Push is this coming Wednesday at approximately 8.45. Please see our dedicated Parents page for more details and photos of our week.

The children have planted mint and re-potted the beans learning about the life cycles of plants. Look at this child’s writing, he independently wrote his name with chalk in the garden. We are currently talking about the natural World, animals and mini beasts. They have made snails and spiders, clay bugs and puff pastry snails.

This week we have been looking at the weather with wellie boot painting, collaging rainbows, making umbrellas and making blossom trees. The children planted cress in their face decorated pots, and as always practicing spreading butter or cream cheese on their crackers.
