As the weather gets warmer, staying safe around water is more important than ever.
This week, all students have attended water safety assemblies to learn about the dangers of open water and how to stay safe. Please take a few minutes to discuss these important messages with your child at home. Together, we can help keep our children safe this summer. 💙🌊

Sports betting has become increasingly visible online, appearing across apps, websites, social media, sports coverage and gaming spaces.
Even when young people are not legally old enough to gamble, they may still encounter betting messages through adverts, influencers, tipsters, friends or adult accounts.
Our latest guide highlights key risks, including:
• Easy online access
• Gambling becoming normalised around sport
• Peer and influencer pressure
• Free bet offers
• Impulsive spending and chasing losses
It also offers practical advice for parents, carers and educators on starting calm conversations, setting safer digital boundaries, spotting warning signs and finding support.

Year 8 and 9 Computing students enjoyed an exciting day at Staffordshire University, where they showcased their game design skills by creating their own mini game and explored how motion capture technology is used in films and video games. Despite the high temperatures, students worked exceptionally well throughout the day and were praised by staff members for demonstrating reverence and endurance. Well Done to all our St Peter's students for representing the school so positively! 🎮⭐

☀️☀️☀️ With the warm weather set to continue this week and pollen levels expected to be high, we’d like to remind parents and carers to help our students stay comfortable during the school day.
✅ If your child suffers from hay fever, please give them their usual antihistamine at home before school.
💧 Please also send them in with a water bottle, to allow them to refill at break and lunch.
We’ve already had lots of children asking for hay fever medication over the past week, so this small step can really help them stay comfortable and focused on learning.
Thank you for your continued support! 🌿💙

⚽👏 Yesterday, our Year 9 boys, representing the Stoke City Foundation, had an incredible opportunity to compete in the Premier League Inspires Tournament at Leicester City’s training ground! 🏟️💙
The team took on strong opposition from Leicester City, Derby County and West Bromwich Albion, competing against clubs from across the UK. 🇬🇧⚽
Throughout the day, the lads showed outstanding teamwork, respect, resilience and determination both on and off the pitch. 💪🤝⭐
We were especially proud to receive praise from staff and players across all clubs for the positive attitude, respect and humour our boys brought to the tournament. 👏😊
They were a true credit to themselves, their school and the Stoke City Foundation, leaving a lasting positive impression on everyone they met. ❤️🔴⚪ scfc_foundation
Well done, lads! 🌟🙌
