Thank you Your Majesties!!!

What a lovely surprise we had in the post today! The Palace has written on behalf of our King and Queen to extend their gratitude and appreciation for their Coronation card from our nursery!

Well done to all of our children who took part in celebrating this special occasion during the coronation week and for making the most special coronation card. Brilliant Bizzy Bodz :)

Good Christmas Eve, Eve everyone!

I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone of our parents who have supported their nursey during a particularly difficult year, trying to get back to a ‘new’ normal.

I know and appreciate we are all facing new challenges, our families, our staff and our business, but like the real troupers we are, marching forward into 2023 and hoping for a better ‘new start’ is what we are all really looking forward to receiving this year.

For all of our children, parents and staff who have been unfortunate to be susceptible to all kinds of illnesses, I send much love and wish them all a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming you back into nursery.

Also, a massive THANKYOU to our parents who have collected earlier today, helping to give our ladies a little extra Christmas preparation time with their own families, again THANKYOU 😊

All that remains to be said is, the Bizzy Bodz Family, wishes all of our nursery families the most wonderfully magical Christmas!

A vrey warm welcome back to another qualified member of staff, Kim!

Our Babies exploring the different animals in our "on the Farm" sensory messy play!! Lots of textures to touch and taste. All engaged and having fun, learning animal noices and names. Clever babies.

Armistice Day / Remembrance Day - 11th November 2022

This week our children have engaged and enjoyed learning about Remembrance Day and why it happens on 11th November each year.

The children have taken great pride in making their own poppies and handmade wreaths from all kinds of materials to create another wonderful display in nursery, all which were laid this morning at the foot of the cenotaph in Fenton at 11am this morning.

Pictures of our very own war veterans, who are or have been part of any type of military service, were given pride of place at the cenotaph.

All, the above to pay our respects, to honour and to remember. those who lost their lives in both world wars, and those who are with us today who fought for our Queen, our country and our freedom.

WE WILL REMEMBER, WE WILL NEVER FORGET

Our Trip to Tesco - Making Vegetable Soup

Some of our Toddlers visited Tesco on the big purple bus on Friday and chose their own selection of vegetables to make their very own homemade soup for tea.

They had fun on the bus ride singing "Wheels on the Bus" and even fell asleep on the way back to nursery. Its hard work this shopping thing!

Toddlers are continuing their Autumn theme.

Today we used blocks dipped into autumn colours to fill in our pumpkin pictures and used a real pumpkin to help us create our own. We used lots of different language to describe the pumpkins; big, round, large, heavy, orange, ball, and circle. I wonder what new words we will be learning tomorrow!!
