It’s an incredible tool of support to your training outside of the Dojo, giving students the opportunity to practice anywhere and whenever they want to.

It’s also a fantastic opportunity to receive feedback on your progress.
Just some of the facilities;

- Full Video Grading Syllabus for Karate & Kickboxing practice at home

- QR code for class check in

- Academy notice board: Look out for important announcements

- Bookings : See your upcoming class schedule

- Observations : View real time updates and feedback on your/your child’s training and progress written by your instructor. Make home observations for the academy to view

- Assessment : View your progress through your current belt grade, which skills of the curriculum you have achieved and are yet to achieve. View support videos and materials to help you practice and train from home, see tasks set for you by your instructor

- View your upcoming membership payments and status

- Use your student journal to keep record of your thoughts, experiences and achievements

Teaching 1-10 in Japanese in our Dinky Dudes classes as part of our program, creates immediate confidence in standing up and presenting. As they are taught another language, they are proud to stand up and show Sensei.

Wishing Daniel all the very best in his new chapter at University.

Having joined us at 5 years old, as a very young boy who was so shy he wouldn’t even say hello to his Sensei. It took him 12 months to stand and count 1-10 in Japanese, 3 years to say hello.
Daniel came to each class always trying his best, never giving up even when competive fighting was a struggle and challenge.

He now goes on as a very confident, determined young man who has won National Medals, achieved 2nd Dan Blackbelt and Student of the Year - which has not only taught him Martial Arts skills to the highest standard, but he has learned that resilience and preservance is the key to success in anything.

Daniel continued to train 3 times per week through his GCSE’s and A levels as an A* student in all his subjects. Letting us know that his training was in his down time, to release any stress and refocus his mind for his studies.

He will be missed in class by Sensei Alex, all his peers, younger students who aspire to be like him, fellow adults students and the whole Alex Hart Kaizen team but we can’t wait to see him back on the Mat whenever he is home from University!

We are extremely grateful for the community we have created and the part we get to play in making a difference in each and every students journey. 🥋

🎉 Congratulations to Our Award Winners and New Black Belts! 🎉

This past year has been a remarkable journey in our dojo, filled with hard work, dedication, and incredible achievements. We are thrilled to celebrate our students’ accomplishments during our awards and black belt grading ceremony!

A Special Thank You
An enormous thank you goes out to all of you - our students and your families for your unwavering support, kindness, and trust over not just the past year, but in many cases, over several years. It is truly a privilege to work with your children. Their growth and passion mean so much to us, and we feel very fortunate to be part of their martial arts journey.

Black Belt Recipients

These students faced a rigorous assessment, including:

• A 30-minute written exam

• 30 minutes of street fighting

• Demonstrations of kata

• Pair techniques testing resilience, strength, and character

• Life skills assessments

Tip Testing Success
Additionally, we had 25 students take the tip test towards their next Dan grade. We commend all of you for striving for the highest standards required to progress to the next level. Your hard work and commitment are truly commendable!

As we move forward, let’s continue to inspire and support one another, embracing the spirit of martial arts together. Here’s to another year of growth, challenges, and success in our dojo!
