This week, the children have been doing many activities celebrating the Hindu celebration Diwali. Melissa made a rice Rangoli pattern in the tuff tray, which prompted the children to ask many questions about the labels around the edge of the tray, and the children had the opportunity to make their own Rangoli pattern in the flour tray.
The children have completed many craft activities including Rangoli suncatchers, Rangoli paper plate printing, Diva lamps and firework pictures.

Bonfire night is upon us! The children enjoyed mixing together the colourful rice fireworks and counting the stars on the rockets to find the matching number. We look forward to hearing all the children's firework stories from the weekend!
