Children attend sessions from 09:15 until 12.15, and 12:45 until 15:45. There is also a wrap-around care facility for those who wish to attend at lunchtime, and early sessions from 8:15am. The children have access to a secure enclosed outdoor play area, and enjoy 'free-flow' between the inside and outside spaces. We aim to provide a safe, awe-inspiring, nurturing environment for them to explore an
d develop. Our inclusive provision embeds tolerance and respect as part of everyday life. We encourage the children to listen and have their voices heard, to show compassion and to celebrate their achievements. We believe children benefit most through using play as a basis for early learning. Accordingly, we provide a wide variety of experiences and activities. These activities are planned around each individual child's interests and in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, which lays the foundation for children's future learning. We are fully inclusive of all children's needs, ensuring they are supported individually to make progress at their own pace while encouraging independence. Our Ethos:
Twinkletoes is a fully inclusive, diverse, and relaxed environment where children learn and thrive through play whilst developing their independence. Our staff show care and compassion alongside fun and laughter, enabling the children to develop positive friendships and relationships in a safe space. We make adaptations to suit the children’s individual needs, ensuring everyone feels included in an exciting and nurturing educational setting. We go the extra mile, offering a holistic approach by supporting, advising, caring for and listening to our children’s and families’ needs. History:
Twinkletoes Pre-school is a privately run group which opened in 2003, operating from the Methodist Church Hall in Trimley St Martin, Suffolk. There is level access to the premises. We offer 15 and 30 hours funded childcare for eligible parents and a maximum of 29 children can attend the preschool at any one time.
