Friends of Fairfield and Colneis

Friends of Fairfield and Colneis Friends of Fairfield and Colneis Association is a charity made up of parents, carers and teachers.

Our aim is to enhance the education of the pupils at our schools. We organise fun events to raise funds for curriculum enhancing resources and activities.

🕖 6pm

We will run through our 25/26 events and accounts, vote for committee members and look at the 26/27 calendar.

We will need to vote in a Treasurer and Secretary, or we will have to fold. So if you've been thinking about offering to help with this, please do! We can share out jobs to make sure it isn't too big a task for 1 person.

Please join us! Even if it's for the free snacks and drinks 🤣

There were so many other activities: face painting, magic shows, rugby, circus skills, raffles, a human fruit machine, summer games, and even the change to win a shirt and plaque signed by the Ipswich players (Come on you blues!)

Well, that was a hot one - I bet Mr Girling was happy to be in the sponge stocks this year!

Whilst the coins are being counted, we have a few thank yous to share:

☀️Firstly, thank you to the committee and volunteers for organising the event. It's a lot of work for a very small team.

☀️A huge thank you to the parents, staff and Year 6 pupils who helped with setting up, running stalls and tidying up. It was a long day and we really appreciate you giving us your time.

☀️ Thanks to Felixstowe Firefighters, Felixstowe Rugby, Sparklebar, Litter Free Felixstowe, Circable and Robby Rocket for providing entertainment!

☀️For sponsorship, thanks to Felixstowe Blinds, RM motors, and JM Symonds. Your contributions really helped to keep our costs down which means more money for the schools.

☀️ And finally, thank you to our school community. Parents and pupils enjoying themselves is the aim of the game, so we thank you for coming and hope you had a wonderful time!

Just look at these incredible hampers that teachers and pupils at Fairfield have assembled.

Each hamper has a theme: will you win the 🍫 chocolate hamper, the 🏖 beach hamper, the 💆‍♀️pamper hamper, or perhaps the 🥳 garden party hamper or the 🎲 games night hamper? That's not even the full list!

Be sure to return your tickets to the school by tomorrow evening if unsold: the unsold tickets will be available for purchase on Saturday at the fair.

Do you love teddies as much as we do? We have 🧸hundreds🧸 of bears, unicorns, cats, dogs, and even a giant carrot waiting to be adopted at the Fairfield and Colneis summer fair this Saturday!
