Mighty Hike completed.
Mrs Mooney would like to say a big thank you to all our school community and further afield who donated to her recent Macmillan Mighty Hike for cancer support. The walk was tough but thanks to all the messages of support and her brother's encouragement she was delighted to complete the 26 miles. An amazing £1250 was donated. Well done Mrs Mooney, we are all very proud of you!

We can’t wait to welcome all our pupils back to St. Canice’s PS tomorrow for the start of a brand‑new school year, especially our new P1s!

The classrooms are ready, the staff are excited, and there’s a real buzz around the building as we look forward to seeing everyone again.

A special treat awaits Primary 3, 4 & 5 in Mrs Eglen’s and Mrs McGuigan’s classes — brand‑new tables and chairs, generously funded by our fantastic PTA. These bright, modern workspaces will make a huge difference to the children’s learning environment, and we’re delighted to share photos below so you can see the brilliant upgrade.

A heartfelt thank you to our PTA for their continued support and generosity. Your hard work makes such a positive impact on our school community.

Here’s to a great year ahead at St. Canice’s PS Feeny!😊

The Moving On Up programme is designed for Primary 7 pupils who are preparing to transition to secondary school. The programme supports children who may feel worried, nervous, or apprehensive about this change by providing practical strategies to help them manage difficult emotions and build confidence.

Through group activities, pupils will have the opportunity to develop coping skills, connect with others, and recognise that they are not alone in their feelings, as many children share similar experiences about moving on to secondary school
