Aquastar swimming school is a local family run business, we are an ASA swim school member, giving our parents and swimmers the peace of mind that we have the backing of the National Governing Body for swimming. Aquastar was formed in 2002 by Scott Powell as a direct response to the demand of quality Swimming Lessons in the local area and is still one of our main teachers
We run different class lev

els at the same time. This means that wherever possible, siblings of different abilities can swim at the same time. We also provide a calm and relaxed environment where your child can learn to swim or improve their technique. All our swimming instructors are qualified to ASA level 2 standard with over 100 years combined teaching experience. You can feel secure in the knowledge that they are in safe hands and learning from the experts. We have the last few places available without a waiting list at St Wilfrids Featherstone, WF7 6BD to start from September

We cater to children aged 3 and above. We offer group lessons for complete beginners, intermediate to advanced stroke development (Swim England Stages 1 -10), and more.
Lessons cost £80 for an 8-week course.

We also offer 1:1 and 2:1 lessons

All our beginner and intermediate groups have two teaching staff members in the water, ensuring a low teacher-to-pupil ratio.

A huge congratulations to Holly and Olivia on becoming Elite swimmers! As they reach the end of their swimming journey with us, we bid them a heartfelt farewell. 🥺 We’re so proud that we’ve given these children “A Skill For Life” and have enjoyed every moment teaching and watching them grow over the years.

We know they truly possess “A Skill For Life” and are incredibly proud of the journey they’ve shared with us. 🏊🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️💦
