Axcell Tutoring I have worked in schools for over ten years. As soon as I started my journey working with children, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do.

Private tutor offering specialised tuition in the following areas: KS3 and KS4 maths (including GCSEs), home education groups, Kent Test (11+) and KS2 curriculum (including year 6 SATs). I thrive off of teaching and inspiring students to achieve their very best and enjoy helping them through their educational journey. As a fully-qualified teacher, I have taught all ages in Key Stage Two (year thre

e to year six). I specialise in year five and year six where I have enjoyed teaching for over seven years, including working as an Upper Key Stage Two Phase Leader. During this time, I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Upper Key Stage Two curriculum and an in-depth understanding of the Kent Test. As a year six teacher, I have administered and invigilated the Kent Test so I have a fully comprehensive understanding of the process that the children have to go through when preparing and taking the test. In addition to this, I have spent many years preparing students for the end of Key Stage Two SATs and have a great deal of experience in running targeted interventions in order to ensure children always perform to the best of their ability. I also have vast experience of working with children with a range of SEN and have completed a variety of SEN training courses to ensure I am able to support and help all children to thrive and achieve their best. My teaching style not only focuses on the academic ability of a child but also the wellbeing of a child as a whole. I am a great believer in a nurturing and encouraging approach when it comes to tutoring and I have seen first-hand the positive effects this has on children. Growing confidence and enabling an ‘I can’ attitude is one of the best ways of empowering a child to thrive and flourish during their time in education. This is something I always aim to inspire in every one of my tutoring sessions. I appreciate the stresses and worries that parents, carers and children may experience regarding education and I would like to help families through this by offering a fully supportive tutoring service. Paediatric First Aid Course (renewed in 2024)
National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership in Education (obtained in 2022)
Bachelor of Science Degree with First Class Honours in Forensic Science (obtained in 2011)
Five A-Levels including mathematics (obtained in 2008)
Thirteen GCSEs including mathematics and English (obtained in 2006)
