📚📖This week the children in Pre-School 2 room have loved stories and have even had a go at writing their own! They thought about how stories are structured with a beginning middle and end as well as how their story book needed a title and an author. As a group they all decided on a story which was written down and then helped stick all the typed up words in the correct sequence after practicing their cutting skills and they all helped to illustrate their story book too! 📚📖

🪲🪱We have been busy exploring habitats and looking after our stick insects for 'National Wildlife Day'. Then when it was time to head up to Forest School, we went on a bug hunt to see what we could find and to explore the different habitats the creepy crawlies live in. Firstly we dug for worms in the soil - but we could not find them anywhere! So we then ventured to the leafy area at the back of the forest and found worms, lots of small bugs and even a centipede!🪲🪱

They have been focussing on their hand-eye coordination as they transfer coloured water between containers using pipettes. This focuses on their hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. ⭐
