🍎⭐ We want to wish all the children taking the Kent Test tomorrow the very best and well done to all children on their hard work getting to Year 6, whether they’re taking the test or not.

Results will be sent on Thursday 15 October to the email address used when registering your child for the test.

Regardless of your outcome, Kent offers fantastic school options for everyone. Secondary schools across Kent will be holding open evenings and school visits to help families decide which school is best for their child. For dates and times please check the school's website.

Welcome to September and the start of a new school year. Staff will be busy in school this week getting ready to welcome all the children back on Thursday. We hope you have all had a great summer, we can’t wait to see you all. 😊

And just like that… another school year comes to an end. ❤️

For many, today is simply the last day before the summer holidays. But for Year 6 parents, it’s so much more than that.

It feels like only yesterday they were holding your hand as they walked through the school gates for the very first time, tiny uniforms, oversized backpacks, and nervous smiles. Now they’re walking out a little taller, a little wiser, and ready to begin an exciting new chapter.

Somehow, those years have flown by in the blink of an eye. The playground memories, school plays, sports days, friendships, achievements, and all those little moments that seemed ordinary at the time have become memories you’ll treasure forever.

To all our incredible Year 6 children. We can’t wait to celebrate you today…be proud of how far you’ve come. You’ve achieved so much, and this is only the beginning of your journey.

And to the parents… take a moment today. Feel proud, shed a tear if you need to, and soak it all in. These milestones remind us just how quickly childhood passes.

Wishing everyone a wonderful summer filled with laughter, adventures, and precious family memories. Good luck to all our Year 6s as they take their next big step, you’ll always carry a little piece of SMC with you. 💙🎓

🇪🇸 We did it - 5th place in the country 🇪🇸

A huge gracias to everyone who took part in the Glurbs Language Quest competition.

Our children had an amazing time learning Spanish through the app, and thanks to their enthusiasm and dedication SMC finished 5th nationally out of more than 140 schools taking part 🏆🎉

The children absolutely loved the challenge and it was wonderful to see their excitement continue beyond the classroom - some even enjoyed it so much they persuaded their parents to subscribe to the app at home!

We have won a Glurbs merchandise pack for the school and a free months subscription to the platform which helps us learn Spanish.
