🌍 Got an inspiring classroom idea to share?

How are you helping young learners explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through English?

We're looking for practical, creative examples of how language learning and sustainability come together in your classroom. Whether it's through stories, projects, games, discussions or creative tasks, we'd love to hear from you!

📝 We're looking for submissions that:
✨ are 100–150 words long
✨ describe a classroom activity or strategy
✨ specify the learners' age group
✨ explain what learners gained from the experience

Please write in clear UK English, follow our submission guidelines (including APA 7th edition where appropriate), and include a short professional biodata. All contributions must be non-commercial and comply with copyright and child safeguarding requirements.

💜 Welcome to the YLTSIG Committee, Vivian Constanta! 💜

We are delighted to welcome Vivian Constanta as our new Joint Events Coordinator. A Fulbright Scholar, English Language Specialist, and educator with over 24 years of international experience, Vivian is passionate about play-based, inclusive, and culturally responsive language education, as well as creating meaningful opportunities for teachers and young learners to connect globally.

🌍 Call for Articles: TEYLT Worldwide – Issue 2, 2026 📚
Focus: Integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in ELT
Are you finding innovative ways to bring the Sustainable Development Goals into your English language classroom? For our second issue of 2026, TEYLT Worldwide is looking for fresh, creative articles that bridge the gap between language learning and global sustainability.
We invite contributions from practitioners working across all age ranges, specifically focusing on Early years (2 to 5 year olds), Primary (6 to 10 year olds), Lower secondary (11 to 14 year olds), and Upper secondary (15 to 17 year olds). We are looking for articles between 1,500 and 1,800 words that offer practical relevance to the global TEYL field while maintaining academic rigor.

Your submission should be written in a clear style, using UK English and avoiding contractions. Please ensure your work follows our official formatting guidelines, including the use of APA version 7 for citations and the inclusion of your professional biodata.

Join us in shaping the future of English language teaching by sharing how your students are becoming advocates for a better world! Submit your article as a Word document to [email protected] by June 30th.
