The children in Year R enjoyed a range of pirate day activities to celebrate the end of their time in the Early Years. Activities included walking the plank, making treasure chests, making pirate flags and finding treasure. They all had a great time and are now ready for their next adventure in key stage 1.

Today, we held our most fabulous talent show to date. We got to see unique and original acts never before seen in our annual showcase! This year, the council decided to do things a little differently. Instead of each class choosing one act, they put their favourite acts forward for a new semifinals round. The school council judged this round and selected seven acts to perform in the live final. They also kindly handed over the final decision of the winner to the whole school. Congratulations to our runners up: Anton’s mystifying magic tricks and Rowan on the steel drums. Huge congratulations go to our winner, Charis, for her hilarious stand up comedy routine, that had the children chuckling and the teachers crying with laughter. Our very worthy winner was so funny that she even received a standing ovation from the audience! A sensational show, crazy conga line and whole school Mexican wave - what a day! Thank you so much to all of their brave and talented acts that competed, to the school councillors for all of their prep work and hosting duties and to the teaching staff for all their hard work, as always, to make this show a huge success! Thank you also to Interiors for support our school by providing prizes for our top 3 for the 5th year in a row.

The year 6 buddy stay and play session to celebrate the end of the year was a great success. The buddies exchanged cards and explored a range of activities , finishing with a special snack time .

The Sports leaders did an amazing job of organising and running a sports event for Year R. They all enjoyed taking part in the range of activities that had been planned for them.

Year 6 vrs the teachers netball match today was fierce and fast paced. The teams were cheered on by the rest of the school with fabulous commentary from James and Quin. Teachers won 7-9, but the referee took away 2 points to make the match a draw. Well done everyone who took part. This has become one of my favourite memories!
