On Film.

We’re doing things a little different welcome to our film and tv workshop available at both sites this summer ⬇️

📍The Grammar School Leeds- WC 27.07.26
📍St Peter’s school- WC 20.07.26

This week, your child steps into the world of Oz — and in front of the camera. Over five days they‘ll train the way screen actors train, rehearse in daily blocks with notes, and finish the week on a real film set with a professional crew.

What they’ll develop-

•Acting for film and television — close-ups, reaction shots, hitting marks, and the difference between stage and screen
•Camera technique — tracking shots, slow motion, group formations and on-screen performance
•Music video — choreography learned, rehearsed and filmed in music-video style
•Self-tape craft — the audition skill every young performer now needs
•Confidence, creativity and teamwork — built through ensemble work all week

What your child keeps-

Professionally filmed and edited footage of their scenes and music sequences, delivered by private link after the week — plus a week of progress notes on presence, listening, collaboration and voice.

Whether they‘re a complete beginner or already love performing, this week is the place to learn, create and shine on screen.

We may have a new name, an exciting relaunch, and a whole host of new experiences coming to our brand, but one thing will never change – the values that have always defined us.

Today’s the day we launch our weekday Performing Arts School at St Peter’s, York and we are so excited.

Sonia Wrightson
Theatre Teacher

“Sonia has always had a passion for performing. She has competed in dance completions whilst in high school. She then professionally trained as an actor and attended Anglia Ruskin university from 2012-2015. She graduated with a BA honours degree in performing arts. Since graduating she has had a variation of different acting roles from theatre to tv. She thoroughly enjoys being a leader in the star programme. Teaching and encouraging children to gain new skills and confidence.”

Emma FalcĂŁo-MacFadyen
Principle and Joint Founder

“Emma has always had a passion for the arts and has been performing on stage since the age of 6.
She attended Scala school of performing arts and performed in various shows whilst there.
She then went on to graduate with a degree in Acting from the Performance Academy at Newcastle College.
Since then Emma has worked all over the UK in theatre, TV and theatre in education.
Emma loves inspiring the next generation of performers to find their confidence and passion for the arts.
Emma is also a trained makeup, hair, theatrical and special effects artist- working in theatre, TV and film.”
