Our Cohort Leads are available to listen, give advice and ensure trainees always have the support they need to become highly successful and resilient teachers.
At South Farnham SCITT we believe it is essential that mental health and well-being is supported. To do this we provide weekly meetings with school-based mentors, weekly contact and ongoing support from a dedicated Cohort Lead and half-termly meetings from a Support Tutor.

Meet Tasmina, one of our current apprentices. Tasmina began her apprenticeship with South Farnham SCITT last September. Having the option of an apprenticeship programme has provided Tasmina with the opportunity to focus on gaining new skills, knowledge and the confidence required to become a qualified teacher.

The new Teacher Degree Apprenticeship for which South Farnham Educational Trust are the chairs of the Trailblazer Group, is a great option if you are looking for a career change or wanting to earn and learn without student debt.
